MY Journey Through Teaching and Leaning Module in BUID

After reading this task, I learned about the recent reform direction of assessment and why, how and when it started.  I also realized that PISA, TIMMS and PIRLS are internationally standardized assessments that students around the world use for national standardized tests. In the U.S.A, students are required to take at least one standardized test (Common Core educational standards) per year, in addition to SATs and ACT tests for college entrance. While A levels and GCSE exams are famous examples of standardized tests in UK, in the UAE (particularly Dubai) students are required to take certain tests according to the curriculum in order to meet the inspection requirements.
